On 28th of July this year at the EuroMediCare Specialist Hospital in Wrocław was held the next procedure of uterine fibroid removal. This non-invasive operation was performed by dr Tomasz Sędziak, who has the biggest experience in the field of Echolaser treatments in Poland.
Uterine fibroids are the most common disease of the female reproductive organ. This problem affects almost 30% of women of all ages, but it is more common during a woman’s menstrual period.
Until now, the treatment of uterine fibroids consisted of surgical removal of the lesion (with larger fibroids) or embolization (with smaller tumor sizes). Today, an innovative solution is available on the medical market – a thermoablation laser – Echolaser. The biggest experience in Poland in removing nodular lesions with Echolaser has dr Tomasz Sędziak, who carried out another uterine fibroid removal at the EMC Specialist Hospital in Wrocław this week.
Thanks to minimal surgical intervention, the procedure was quick and the patient was discharged the next day.
Echolaser therapy is a great breakthrough in the treatment of uterine fibroids and new opportunities for many women with this disease.
