Thyroid nodules removal procedure at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at CM Klara in Częstochowa

On June 2, 2020, at the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery at CM Klara in Częstochowa, was performed an operation to remove nodular thyroid lesions using an Echolaser.

The procedure was performed by MD Tomasz Sędziak, who has extensive experience in the minimally invasive method of removing cancerous lesions using the heat generated by the laser.

Percutaneous ablation with Echolaser causes a progressive reduction in the volume of the nodular lesion, followed by the disappearance of the symptoms of throat tightness.
Thanks to microinvasive access using optical fibers introduced through very thin needles, the tumor tissue was destroyed, and the patient avoided open surgery and scars.

This modern method gives the opportunity to destroy tumors with millimeter accuracy, saving a healthy organ and ensuring the safety of neighboring sensitive structures.
It is a breakthrough technology in the treatment of cancerous changes in the thyroid and other organs.

Patients praise the Echolaser procedure not only because of the low invasiveness and lack of scars, but also because of the lack or significant reduction of postoperative pain and a very short time of hospitalization.

Removal of nodular thyroid lesions was another such procedure performed at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at CM Klara in Częstochowa.
The patient left the hospital the same day.
