On June 2, 2020, at the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery at CM Klara in Cz\u0119stochowa, was performed an operation to remove nodular thyroid lesions using an Echolaser.<\/p>\n
The procedure was performed by MD Tomasz S\u0119dziak, who has extensive experience in the minimally invasive method of removing cancerous lesions using the heat generated by the laser.<\/p>\n
Percutaneous ablation with Echolaser causes a progressive reduction in the volume of the nodular lesion, followed by the disappearance of the symptoms of throat tightness.
\nThanks to microinvasive access using optical fibers introduced through very thin needles, the tumor tissue was destroyed, and the patient avoided open surgery and scars.<\/p>\n
This modern method gives the opportunity to destroy tumors with millimeter accuracy, saving a healthy organ and ensuring the safety of neighboring sensitive structures.
\nIt is a breakthrough technology in the treatment of cancerous changes in the thyroid and other organs.<\/p>\n
Patients praise the Echolaser procedure not only because of the low invasiveness and lack of scars, but also because of the lack or significant reduction of postoperative pain and a very short time of hospitalization.<\/p>\n
Removal of nodular thyroid lesions was another such procedure performed at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at CM Klara in Cz\u0119stochowa.
\nThe patient left the hospital the same day.<\/p>\n
